We are a Dutch based organization. We promote, diffuse, support and initiate activities within the social innovative realm. And focus on systemic change and alternative solutions instead of incremental adaptations within the system. The overall organizational mind-set preferably is on ‘sharing knowledge’ and dialogue, which will help stimulating new ideas and generating creative solutions. We stimulate what is needed to advance social innovation and sustainability in a meaningful and broad regional, national and international context.

We are living in a transiting world. Many solutions we found to problems in the past are not functional any more; we can not go on organizing hierarchical from the top, maximizing control and restraint, pressing the last drop of juice out of the efficiency lemon, creating contradictory bonus systems, draining our natural resources or rely on a handful of experts while countless stakeholders stand on the threshold of co-creation.
So while we come more and more aware of existing systems that don’t work any more there’s no clarity on what to do instead. We have to find new ways. It’s an exiting time: we’re not living in an era of changes but in a change of eras. We have to be prepared to experiment, find out, be creative and innovate. This calls for guts. Older generations trust on newer ones to be brave and step forward. We need new leaders and new leadership. As no one has a blueprint for the future we can only take part in the process. We invite all leaders who recognize themselves in this challenge to join our programs and activities.

Complexity demands a disruptive input to radically change views. This is why we work together with people from the realm of art & design; here we find lateral thinkers and people that ask questions others don't. Their contributions are not only helpful in realizing authentic insights and approaches, they also contribute to the element of fun and pleasure while working on serious challenges.
More than ever ownership (the awareness that the issues at stake are important to you) is a bench-mark in deciding who should work on complex issues. This goes for city- and organizational development as well as societal challenges. We help to create new narratives as the 'old' language and 'old' stories often fall short to reflect on new solutions or future based actions. Bringing together different ways of human expression as seen in poetry, prose, fine arts, cinema, music and theatre, with reflection, thinking and research common to science and business and relate them to societal needs, is the core of what we do. All this can be conducted on a micro scale with just a few individuals or on a large (city, regional, national or global) scale.
We enhance creativity within the concerning organization, help to overcome dysfunctional barriers in hierarchy and increase cross-departmental co-creation. Because we are convinced that the element of 'play' is highly disregarded as a valuable asset, we create experimental situations or 'playgrounds' to foster new insights and to break through counter productive patterns of behaviour.
